SWFCCP Launches New Partnership with Sheffield Hallam University to Deliver Sports Business Management Degree
Sheffield Wednesday FC Community Programme is delighted to officially launch a brand-new partnership with Sheffield Hallam University. This collaboration marks an exciting development in the organisation’s expanding Higher Education provision.
The partnership underpins the introduction of the FdSc Sports Business Management degree, a two-year foundation programme with a pathway to a full BSc top-up. Recruitment is now open for September 2026, with 96 UCAS points required for entry.
The new degree offers students the opportunity to gain a recognised academic qualification while benefitting from hands-on experience within a professional sporting environment. This blend of learning is designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and industry insight needed to thrive in the sports business sector.
“We’re really excited about the new partnership with a world-leading organisation like Sheffield Hallam University to expand our HE provision,” said James Moore, Degree Coordinator at SWFCCP. “This collaboration allows students to study on a degree course while gaining real-life experience that prepares them for the world of work.”
The launch of the Sports Business Management pathway builds on the continued growth of SWFCCP’s Higher Education offering, which already includes a range of undergraduate and postgraduate pathways delivered in partnership with leading institutions.
