SWFCCP to Launch 'Connect' Project to Support Vulnerable Youth!

Sheffield Wednesday FC Community Programme (SWFCCP) is thrilled to announce the successful funding bid for its groundbreaking 'Connect' project which aims to provide essential support to 40 young people within the care system.

The initiative will establish a dedicated space for these individuals to be paired with mentors who will guide and motivate them towards positive engagement with local provisions.

Funded by The National Lottery Cost of Living Grant, the 'Connect' project responds to a growing demand for mentorship and support services for at-risk young people in Sheffield.

Additionally, the project will establish the 'Connect Voice Group,' which will help participants shape and grow the programme to suit their best needs. The Connect Voice Group is expected to persist beyond the funding period, fostering sustained collaboration with local authorities, law enforcement, and national partners.
