Better Youth Spaces

We’re delighted to have received around £100,000 through the Better Youth Spaces grant, helping us take another big step forward in supporting young people across our communities.

This funding is already making a real difference. We’ve purchased a new minibus, opening up opportunities for young people who may not otherwise be able to access our sessions.

Inside our spaces, things are changing too. High-quality football and sports equipment is giving young people the chance to train, play and develop with the right tools around them. 

New entertainment and engaging activities, including games consoles and interactive features, are helping to create welcoming environments where young people want to spend time, connect and feel safe.

There has also been a transformation in how our spaces look and feel. With new furniture, refreshed imagery on the walls and improved surroundings, our facilities are becoming places that young people can truly be proud of.

This investment is about more than equipment or buildings. It’s about creating better experiences, building confidence and giving young people opportunities to grow.

The Better Youth Spaces fund, delivered by Social Investment Business on behalf of the Government, is designed to do exactly that — creating safer, more engaging and more sustainable youth provision in the areas that need it most.
