Liam Palmer Named PFA Community Champion 2025/26

Sheffield Wednesday FC Community Programme are delighted to announce that Liam Palmer has been named the PFA Community Champion for the 2025/2026 season.

The award, selected by the Community Programme, recognises Liam’s outstanding dedication to charitable causes and community initiatives away from the pitch, as well as his continued support of the wide range of projects delivered across South Yorkshire.

Throughout the season, Liam has consistently given his time to support participants, attend community events, and champion the work of the Community Programme, making a lasting impact on people across our communities.

Marcus Brameld, Head of Community at Sheffield Wednesday FC Community Programme, said:
“Liam has been a fantastic supporter of everyone here at SWFCCP. He is always willing to give his time to support our projects and the people involved in them, and his commitment to the community both on and off the pitch has been outstanding.
