Study at Community College

Are you, or someone you know, looking to break into the sports industry? Study at Hillsborough with a range of Post-16 pathways delivered by Sheffield Wednesday FC Community College. Our Level Two and Three courses are designed to develop your skills and support progression into careers within professional sport.

Former student Charlie Stevenson said:
“These courses are the perfect balance between education and personal development. The coaching skills I gained allowed me to take that step into employment, supported by great staff.”

Students benefit from excellent progression opportunities, including pathways into degree programmes and close partnerships with grassroots teams and the Sheffield Wednesday Academy. All learning takes place at Hillsborough Stadium, based in the education hub next to the Owls Megastore, with students also representing Sheffield Wednesday FC every week in college league football.

Earlier this season, four students earned trials with the Sheffield Wednesday Academy after excelling both on and off the pitch.

Ryan Priest, Sports Tutor at SWFCCP, said:
“This is an unbelievable opportunity for our players to test themselves at the highest level for their age. Those selected have shown real commitment and a high level of technical ability throughout the programme.”

The College has two upcoming events for prospective students: an Open Evening and Open Trials.
