Supporting One Sheffield, Many Communities

Sheffield Wednesday FC Community Programme has spent a busy summer supporting Sheffield’s Local Area Committees at family fun days across communities throughout the city.

Working alongside local partners, the Community Programme has delivered a range of fun and engaging sports activities, giving children and families the opportunity to get active, try something new and enjoy time together in their local communities.

Across the summer, the team has attended events in communities across Sheffield, bringing football and other sporting activities directly to local families and helping create welcoming spaces for people of all ages to get involved.

With the summer weather providing the perfect backdrop, the events have been a fantastic opportunity to meet local residents, connect with communities and showcase the range of activities available through Sheffield Wednesday FC Community Programme.
