Support Available Through Our Service – Youth Hub

In association with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), our Youth Hub continues to provide practical and personalised support to help young people take positive steps towards employment, education, and training opportunities.

We understand that everyone’s journey is different, which is why our team works closely with young people to help break down barriers and build confidence for the future.

Through the programme, participants can access a wide range of support, including professional haircuts and grooming services to help them feel confident and work-ready.

We can also provide hygiene products and wellbeing advice, alongside support with interview clothing such as suits, shirts, shoes, and other smart attire to help individuals feel prepared for interviews and placements.

For those needing digital access, participants can use laptops and free Wi-Fi during our Job Club sessions, with support available for job searching, applications, online training, and, where eligible, access to a personal laptop.

Travel support is also available, including assistance with transport costs, bus passes, travel reimbursement schemes, and journey planning to help young people confidently travel to workplaces, interviews, training providers, or appointments.

Our team also offers tailored CV writing and cover letter support, interview preparation sessions, confidence-building activities, and mock interviews to help participants feel ready for the next step.

In addition, young people can access adult education courses covering a wide range of skills and personal development opportunities, with an AQA Award available upon completion.

We know that additional support may be needed depending on individual circumstances, and our team is always happy to discuss further assistance where possible.

Support is available for young people aged 16–24 who are currently NEET and claiming Universal Credit, subject to eligibility.
