Utilita Energy Supports New Mums Programme with £2,500 Grant
Sheffield Wednesday FC Community Programme is delighted to have received a £2,500 grant from Utilita Energy to help expand its support for new mums across the local community.
Health Manager Sean Graves and Participation Manager Jonny Gilberthorpe recently visited the Utilita Energy Hub in Sheffield, where they were presented with the funding, which will help grow the programme's provision for new parents.
The grant will enable the Community Programme to increase the number of exercise sessions available for new mums, including step, HIIT and dance classes. Designed to support physical health, mental wellbeing and social connection, the sessions also provide a welcoming environment where mums can bring their babies along.
Sean Graves, Health Manager, said:
"This grant allows us to increase our provision and strengthen the support we offer to new mums. We are incredibly grateful to Utilita for their backing and look forward to continuing this partnership for many years to come."
The funding will play an important role in helping the Community Programme continue to provide accessible opportunities for new mums to stay active, build confidence and connect with others in a supportive community setting.
